Travelling Classes   

Business Class

We offer two levels of services in Business class – Business Premium and Business.  They differ in terms of the scope of advantages provided, such as ticket flexibility.

 

Business Premium

 

Advantages:

* FREE change of flight booking

 

Check-in

When travelling in the Business Premium class, you will be checked in at special "Business Class" counters.  The waiting time here will not exceed 6 minutes.  Aside from the regular airport check-in , you can use the Telephone or Internet Check-in options.

 

Baggage

With a Business Premium ticket, you can check a bag weighing up to 30 kg (66 lb) on European flights, and two pieces of luggage, each weighing a total of 32 kg (70 lb) when travelling to the US.  Also, you may have up to two carry-on bags with a total weight of up to 18 kg.  A PRIORITY tag will be put on your checked bagage,

so that it will be among the first to be delivered upon your arrival at your destination.

 

VIP Lounge Access

A Business Premium ticket grants you free access to the 390 VIP Lounges of the SkyTeam Alliance, all over the world.  These lounges offer you a broad selection of refreshments, free computer and Internet access, etc.

 

While On Board

When departing, you can board at any time that suits you – you are not restricted by the time allocated for the boarding of passengers in other classes.
On board, you will be seated in the Business Class section, which affords significantly greater comfort and quality of on-board services.

 

In-flight Services

Once you board, we will offer you a welcome drink and a hot towel.  A broad selection of Czech and foreign press will be available.  After take-off, we will offer you high-quality refreshments, including a broad selection of special meals.  On selected routes, you will receive a gift set, to make your flight more pleasant (amenity kit).  A personal video-player will be available to you, with a selection of eight films.

 

Earning OK Plus Miles

If you are a member of the OK Plus frequent flyer programme and fly on a Business Premium ticket, twice the number of SkyTeam Miles will be credited to your account.

 

Business

A Business ticket will afford you nearly all of the advantages of a Business Premium ticket.  Unlike Business Premium tickets, Business tickets are not flexible.  A refund for a cancelled flight, and a change in your booking, are made subject to a fee.

When travelling in Business Class, you will be checked in at special "Business Class" counters.  The waiting time here will not exceed 6 minutes.  Aside from the regular airport

Economy Class

We offer three levels of service in Economy Class – Economy Premium, Economy, and Value Special.  They differ in terms of ticket flexibility, the offer of in-flight services, or the number of miles you earn in the OK Plus frequent flyer programme.

 

Economy Premium

The advantage of an Economy Premium ticket is its flexibility.  Should you decide to cancel your trip, you will receive a full refund of your ticket.  If you need to change your booking, you can do so at any time and free of charge.

 

Check-in

When travelling in the Economy Premium Class, you will be checked in at special "Business Class" counters.  The waiting time here will not exceed 6 minutes (as compared with the Economy Class, where the waiting time is up to 15 minutes). Aside from the regular airport

check-in , you can use the telephone or internet check-in options.

 

Baggage

The baggage allowance is governed by the baggage rules for Economy Class.  On European Flights, you can check a bag weighing up to 23 kg (50 lb).  When travelling to the US, you can carry two bags, each weighing up to 23 kg (50 lb).  As your cabin

baggage , you can carry one bag weighing up to 12 kg (26 lb).

 

VIP Lounge Access

Economy Class passengers may only use the services of VIP Lounges for a fee.

Cabin

Our aircraft will offer you the highest comforts.  We have adapted everything to your needs and requirements.

 

Business Class

The section of the aircraft reserved for Business Class is located near the exit from the aircraft.  That will enable you to leave the airplane faster once it lands.  The Business

Class sector is separated from Economy Class by a divider, which will assure you greater privacy and peace.  To assure you maximum comfort, there are only four seats in each row.  A roomy closet is available for hanging your coats.

The seats in Business Class are wide, comfortable, and you can recline the back to a position that will suit you the best.  In selected types of aircraft, seats are equipped with a footstool and a positioning headrest.

On long-haul flights, you will receive a complementary toiletries bag.

 

Distances between seats in Business Class:

* Long-haul flights: 120 cm

*Medium-haul flights: 84 cm

* Short-haul flights: 79 cm

 

Economy Class

Seats for Economy Class passengers are located at the rear of the aircraft.  Depending on the aircraft type and duration of your flight, there are 4 to 8 seats in one row:

* Short-haul flights: 2+2

* Medium-haul flights: 3+3

* Long-haul flights: 2+4+2 (or 2+3+2)

 

Seats in Economy Class are adapted to the type of the aircraft and offer the greatest comfort available.  On selected aircrafts, seats are equipped with a footstool and a positioning headrest.

Distances between seats in Economy Class:

* Short-haul flights: 76 cm

* Medium-haul flights: 76 cm

* Long-haul flights: 81 cm

 

All aircraft are equipped with toilets corresponding to the type of the aircraft.  On some types of aircraft, toilets are equipped with handles for passengers with reduced mobility and folding boards for changing babies’ nappies. Seats in Czech Airlines aircraft enable the carriage of people with handicaps.  In addition, an ill passenger can be carried on a stretcher in a section divided from the rest of the cabin by a screen. For your comfort, you can request a blanket and a pillow from our cabin crew.  On long-haul flights, they are offered automatically.

 

In-flight Refreshments

A natural part of every trip with Czech Airlines is enjoying high-quality refreshments.  The amounts and type depend on the duration of your flight and type of aircraft. The refreshments served on board our aircraft comply with the principles of modern gastronomy and a healthy diet.  We offer international and Czech dishes.  We plan our in-flight refreshments concept in association with the Czech Association of Confectioners and Chefs.
On board, you can choose from a broad selection of hot and cold beverages, soft and hard.  We choose our wines in cooperation with the Sommeliers’ Association.
If you have special dietary requirements on board, we offer you a broad selection of meals adapted to your health requirements or religious principles.  You can order your special meal when you book your ticket. The selection depends on the destination and the class in which you travel.
 

Business Class

Once you are seated, we will offer you a welcome drink and a hot towel.

Refreshments in Business Class comprise several courses and are served on china.  The specific selection depends on the duration of your flight and type of aircraft.  On certain routes, you will be offered a menu and a wine list to choose your refreshments.

We offer a broad selection of excellent beverages.  On short-haul flights, they include Czech wines.  On long-haul flights, foreign wines are added to the selection.  Many of these are wines that have won awards at tasting competitions.  And we are sure you will find something for yourself from our extensive selection of aperitifs and digestives.

 

Economy Class

Meals are offered on all Czech Airlines flights.  The type of the meal depends on the duration of the flight and type of aircraft.

On short-haul flights, you can look forward to cold refreshments, on medium-haul and long-haul flights a warm meal will be served, comprising several courses.

In-flight Entertainment

On board of all Czech Airlines aircraft, we will offer you complimentary newspapers and magazines.  On selected flights, you can pass time with our in-flight audio and video programme.
