Aynkaran Sivaratnam is the Director of Finance, Australia and New Zealand, based in Sydney and is part of the CWT Australia Executive team.

Aynkaran was appointed Director of Finance of Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) for Australia in May 2000. 

Aynkaran joined CWT from American Express International, where he was the Head of Travel Finance for 5 years. Prior to joining American Express, he was the Financial Controller for National Australia Travel Ltd (a subsidiary of National Australia Bank) for 4 years.

In his 17 year career in the Travel industry, in addition to being responsible for the Finance functions of the various organisations he has also been involved in asset management, acquisitions, and mergers of businesses, process reengineering including migration of finance processes to off shore resource centres and implementations of travel systems.

Aynkaran has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and a FCPA (Aus).
