As CFO, Carlson Wagonlit Travel - Canada, Knappich is responsible for leading the strategic financial direction of the Company, which includes accountability for all tax, treasury, and financial reporting matters. Knappich is based in Toronto, and reports directly to Sherry Saunders, Senior Vice President & General Manager, CWT Canada.
Since joining Carlson Wagonlit Travel in January 2000, Knappich served as Director of Finance, where she made significant contributions including the realignment of the Finance department, the development and integration of their financial systems, and considerable improvements to the budgeting process.
Prior to joining Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Knappich held several positions at Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc., most recently as Vice-President, Corporate Planning, and also began her career with KPMG. Knappich is a Chartered Accountant and holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
