Senior Director, Marketing

As Senior Director, Marketing – Carlson Wagonlit Travel Canada, Nick Polifemi is responsible for the development and implementation of national strategic & integrated marketing programs that support core business strategies and organizational needs for all lines of business. He is accountable for all marketing functions including brand management, building positive brand awareness, consumer and market research, creative, advertising and promotions strategy, CRM strategy including consumer loyalty and CWT’s e-commerce strategies by customer segment.
Polifemi brings over 20 years of experience in the marketing field and over 14 years specifically aligned to the travel and tour operator marketplace. He has been with CWT since 2007 in a strategic leadership capacity. His expertise in creating brands and complete end to end client experience solutions forms the foundation for CWT’s new brand positioning and strategy.
During his time at CWT, Polifemi has overseen national marketing activities for leisure travel including product strategy, advertising and promotions, communications and cruise programs. Polifemi has made significant contributions to CWT with the enhancement of product and yield analysis tools that drove annual supplier revenue growth. He also continued the advancement of the well established “one to one marketing “strategy model which resulted in increased customer adoption, revenue generation and organic growth in leisure travel.
Polifemi, a member of the Executive team, is based in Toronto and reports directly to Sherry Saunders, Senior Vice President and General Manager, CWT Canada.
