March 9, 2004 – TORONTO (March 9, 2004) - Carlson Wagonlit Travel, a world leader in business travel and expense management is pleased to announce the appointment of Allen Baker to Vice President, Client Service, Carlson Wagonlit Travel Canada. In this role, Baker will be responsible for the successful planning, development and direction of the company’s corporate travel sales and account management efforts in Canada. This includes building strong, value-based relationships with both prospective and existing clients and determining the most effective support program for each client. Based in Toronto, Baker reports directly to Bill McLean, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Carlson Wagonlit Travel – Canada.

With over 15 years of substantial sales leadership and client management experience, Baker is highly regarded for his team-focused working philosophy. Prior to joining Carlson Wagonlit Travel, he held a Managing Director’s role with team lead responsibility at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Before that, Baker built a very successful career track record working with Karabus Consulting, Norstan Canada, AT&T Canada and Sprint Canada.
