History

Carlson Wagonlit Travel has a long history in Hungary where it has been present as a wholly-owned branch of the network since the end of the 19th Century.

CWT began its operations in Hungary with rail services, and diversified to include other forms of transportation, gaining its Official Travel Agent License in 1907.

Since then, Carlson Wagonlit Travel has grown and expanded into one of the major players in the Hungarian travel market.

Today CWT's key activity is the business travel management and incentive travel organizing, a rapidly developing branch of CWT's activities. CWT offers the most sophisticated levels of service to its corporate clients.
