Saving on your travel expenses with KLM BlueBiz

BlueBiz is KLM's loyalty program for any company without a current discount agreement with KLM. If a company participates in the BlueBiz-program it can save Blue Credits by flying KLM and participating partners. The only thing you have to do is communicate your BlueBiz (UCC) number (= Unique Client Code) to us and (if applicable) your Flying Blue number before you make your reservation and before the ticket is issued. You only need to do this once.

If your company doesn't have a discount agreement with KLM yet, then you're welcome to participate. There is no fee, you only need:

  • A registration number with the Chamber of Commerce (dependent on where your company is established).
  • An internet connection to register your company and manage your BlueBiz account.

  • You save on travel costs by saving for free tickets on KLM and partners*.

  • Blue Credits can be converted into free tickets and gifts of KLM and participating airline partners.
  • Blue Credits each represent the value of one unit of the local currency; so in euro-zone countries one Blue Credit equals one euro.
  • With Blue Credits your company can purchase free tickets in all available booking classes (dependent on availability).
  • Blue Credits are valid as long as your company actively participates in the program.
  • With your username and password you have access to your BlueBiz pages where you can check the Blue Credits balance of your company.

Registration
Registration is easy and fast: sign up through this website and start saving Blue Credits as soon as you receive your BlueBiz (UCC)- number en confirmation e-mail. This can take 7 days at most. In order to qualify for Blue Credits en Flying Blue Miles the BlueBiz (UCC)- number and Flying Blue-number need to be mentioned in the booking before your ticket is printed. Therefore we advise you to communicate your BlueBiz (UCC)-number to your CWT office in time. Once you have communicated your BlueBiz number to us (and FB nummer if applicable), this number will automatically be taken into all bookings for your company.

Quickly earn 50 Blue Credits with your first Bluebiz-flight!
If you make your first flight via KLM Bluebiz within 4 months after your registration at KLM Bluebiz, you receive a bonus of 50 Blue Credits worth EUR 50,-. This way your company makes a flying start and saving on travel costs will become reality fast. You can book the usual way through Carlson Wagonlit Travel. All you need to do is give us your Bluebiz UCC number so that we can add it in the booking.

Saving Blue Credits

  • Blue Credits can be earned on KLM tickets as well as tickets from participating partners.
  • Important: Blue Credits are only allocated for tickets issued in the country where your company is established and cannot be registered retrospectively.
  • Blue Credits are earned on all* reservations with KLM that you book through us. Don't forget to communicate your BlueBiz (UCC)-number and Flying Blue number to us in time.
  • The number of Blue Credits you save depends on the destination and the booking class and therefore varies per ticket. In the earning scheme you can see how many Blue Credits you save per ticket.
  • The saved Blue Credits are credited to your account 8 weeks after the last flight date that is mentioned on your ticket at the latest.
  • You can check the current savings amount of your company online 24 hrs a day.
  • For the Netherlands, participation of travelers to the Flying Blue programme is not mandatory.

Changes in your ticket
In case of changes in your ticket, only flights with KLM or participating partners are taken into account while determining the amount of Blue Credits you earned.
 

Convert your Blue credits into free tickets

Once your company has built up a sufficient number of Blue Credits, you can use them to purchase tickets with KLM and participating partners. For this you can contact the KLM BlueBiz service desk at 020 - 545 9 777, open from Monday to Friday, 09.00 - 17.00 hrs.
 
  • Please note that your booking has to be made at least 7 days in advance*.
  • Your company can book any flight in any booking class with KLM and participating partners (subject to availability).
  • You must have sufficient Blue Credits to pay for the whole ticket. It is not possible to pay for part of a ticket using Blue credits and the other part using euros.
  • Naturally, all KLM services associated with the ticket apply. For instance, if you have a Business Class ticket, you can check in via the Business Class desks and will have access to the Business Class lounges.
  • The traveler will also earn FD Miles on these tickets.
  • You can check your account online to find an overview of all your accumulated Blue Credits.

* Except for the Netherlands, where 24 hrs before departure apply, on the condition of an e-ticket and if regulations allow it.
