Check-in facilities
Except for checking in at Schiphol, airlines also offer other check-in possibilities. Below are the check-in facilities that several airlines offer.
NB Please be aware that early check-in (by internet) can be an obstacle when changing the checked-in flight afterwards.
If you are not sure if you will travel on a certain flight, we advise you not to check in beforehand!

Air France
Air France and KLM introduce a combined internet check-in service.
Passengers with an e-ticket for an Air France flight can also check in through klm.com. For a

Alitalia
Alitalia passengers travelling on an e-ticket can check-in via internet from 20 hours up to 1 hour prior to departure.

Austrian Airlines
Austrian Airlines also offers online check-in facilities. Please choose one of the options on the Austrian Airlines website.

bmi
bmi customers can now check-in for their flights online. Online check-in is available on the
majority of bmi routes (excluding long haul).
Just print your boarding card before you leave for the airport. Once at the airport you simply drop any bags you may have at the bmi bag drop and head straight to departures.
Online check-in is available from 24 hours before the flight up to one hour before departure.
If you want to check-in online:
- go to any of the following:
flybmi.com/onlinecheckin or click on online check-in (manage my booking) on the home page flybmi.com - Enter your reservation number, which you received from your travel agent (or enter the FOID that was taken at the time of booking, this can be a credit/debit card number or frequent flyer number)
- follow a few easy steps – confirm booking details, answer security questions, select a seat.

Exceptions:
Passengers flying from Dublin who print their boarding card at home must exchange their
boarding card at the premium check-in desk.
Passengers travelling with a paper ticket cannot use online check-in.
BMI also offers other check-in facilities.

British Airways
British Airways customers can now check-in for their flights online. Just print your boarding
card before you leave for the airport. Once at the airport you simply drop any bags you may have at
the bag drop and head straight to departures.
Online check-in is available from 24 hours before the flight departure.
If you want to check-in online:

- choose the Menu Check in Online

The above procedure is also applicable for travellers to the USA in regard to Advanced Passenger Information (API).
Brussels Airlines also offers online check-in facilities. Please click for the Brussels Airlines website and at the homepage My Bookings / Check-in type your Name and Booking Reference in the applicable fields.
Cathay Pacific
Web check-in is possible for e-Ticket holders from 48 hrs to 1,5 hour before departure.

Continental Airlines has implemented check-in at its Web site for eTicketed customers originating in the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and Israel, on both international and domestic flights in the US. The new service offers customers the convenience of checking in and obtaining a boarding pass from their home or office so they may proceed directly to security at the airport.
Internet check-in is available to customers with carry on bags or check-in bags between 24 hours and 60 minutes before scheduled departure . During the transaction, customers using continental.com check-in may also change seat assignments using an interactive seat map, add or change a OnePass frequent flyer number, etc.
To use check-in online, go to continental.com, select "Travel Center" and "Flight Check-in." Customers may print their boarding pass directly from their computer on regular paper. If you don't have access to a printer, there is an option to have your boarding card faxed to your location, simply by choosing the "Request Fax" option during the check-in process.
To insure smooth and easy check-in process to bags, customers will be able to check-in their bags at the designated "EliteAccess" check-in counter which will be clearly marked with "continental.com bag drop".
Besides online check-in at continental.com, Continental Airlines offers customers departing from Amsterdam the possibility to check in through the airport kiosks at Schiphol Airport.
Delta Air Lines
Delta also offers the possiblity to check in online. For more information, please check the Delta website.
Finnair
Finnair offers a diversity of online check-in facilities: online, SMS, WAP. Please choose one of the options on the Finnair website.
Iberia
Iberia also offers the possibility to check in online on the Iberia website. Click on Reservations/Online Check-in.
On the site, you can also find information about the possibility to check in at the “CUSS” (Common-Use Self-Service) counters at Schiphol.
KLM
From 30 hours up to 1 hour before departure.One day before departing you can check-in both ways your European round trip ticket via internet.
Here's what you need to do:
Step 1:
Go to the Viewtrip website to request your electronic ticket number.
Step 2:
Then go to the KLM site: KLM Internet Check-In to check in.
On the day of departure:
Luggage needs to be dropped off at one of the luggage issuing points in the Departure Hall.
These will close down 60 minutes before departure of the plane (40 minutes for European flights).
You need to be at the gate at least 20 minutes before take-off of European flights and 30 minutes
for intercontinental flights. Passengers with only hand luggage can walk directly to the gate once
they have passed the customs.
KLM internet check-in is possible for all e-ticket destinations. For more check-in possibilities see the KLM website.
LOT
LOT offers the possibility to check in by telephone for Business Class passengers with only
carry-on luggage. See the

Lufthansa
Lufthansa offers a diversity of online check-in facilities: online, SMS, WAP. Please choose
one of the options on the

SAS
Web check-in is possible from 22 hrs to 1 hour before departure.

A print-out of the web check-in will do as proof. With this print-out, passengers with only carry-on luggage can go directly to the gate, without first picking up their boarding card. This only applies for Schiphol Airport. For other airports counts that after checking in on-line, you still need to pick up your boarding card before departure. Passengers at Schiphol with checked luggage need to get luggage labels at the check-in machines at Schiphol, and drop off their luggage at the special economy class and business class luggage drop counters.
Check-in machines
Passengers can also use the SAS check-in machines at Schiphol by filling in a SAS pnr.
Voice check-in
SAS EuroBonus members can register for "voice check-in" and reserve a seat via their cell
phone. The reservation is confirmed by sms.
Fast track at Copenhagen and Stockholm airport
To avoid delay, except SAS Business Class passengers, also SAS Economy Flex passengers can
use Fast Track security check at the airports of Copenhagen and Stockholm.
SAS Lounges
In most SAS lounges it is possible to check in.
For all check-in possibilities the passenger must at all times possess a valid passport.
Singapore Airlines
Web check-in is possible for all flights from 48 hrs to 2 hrs before departure,
except for flights to the US. You can also print your boarding card.
Please be at the SIA desk at the airport 40 minutes before departure at the latest, with your
printed boarding card, to get it validated and to check in your luggage.

Swiss
Internet Check-in is possible via the

website and is available for passengers:
- holding an e-ticket for a SWISS operated flight with a confirmed reservation
- travelling without an infant (0-2 years)
- departing from an airport where web check-in is available (e.g. Amsterdam)
- groups of up to nine passengers

TAP Portugal
If you fly from Lisbon, Oporto, Faro, Funchal, Porto Santo, London, Amsterdam or
Copenhagen with carry-on luggage only, you can check in by telephone.
