Branch Support Analyst
Potters Bar
Service Development now has a vacancy within its Branch Support Team.
Branch Support provides help and assistance on all branch operational
applications and processes and the development of new applications.
This position would be suitable for someone in Branch Operations, with a Travel
Consultant Support background and has a desire for a challenge. The position is office based, but
the location could be flexible; however, all training will be given in Potters Bar.
The candidate must have a good working knowledge of a GDS system (such as,
Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus) and Branch Operations. They must be familiar with the booking processes
and the use of scripts (for example, Turbo Sabre, the Galileo VB Applications available on
Launchpad or the Amadeus WRE scripts) HARP and Webfares
Some knowledge of other front office booking applications such as, Trainline,
Talisma, CSA, refund database, etc would also be beneficial. In addition, having experience of
Wings FOLF & booking files, cashbox, aged debt and litiges, BSP Link & TravAutomation would
be helpful, but not essential.
The candidate must be proficient in computer skills, be self-motivated and have
basic trouble shooting skills. For example, perhaps having experience in restoring ticket, invoice
or itinerary printing.
