Carlson Wagonlit Travel Teams Up with GetThere for Online Corporate Travel Reservation System

Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) signed a reseller agreement with GetThere to offer clients worldwide enhanced flexibility in their choice of online booking systems, the travel management company announced today.  The GetThere online corporate travel reservation system is available to CWT clients in America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America and is offered in languages.  The GetThere system complements CWT’s proprietary online booking tool CWT Horizon, which is available in the United States and Canada.

Carlson Wagonlit Travel Finalizes Acquisition of Navigant International

Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), the world’s second-largest corporate travel management company, today announced that the acquisition of Navigant International Inc., formally doing business as TQ3Navigant, is complete. The agreement to purchase Navigant was originally announced on April 27, 2006. Subsequently, the transaction gained necessary regulatory approvals and was approved by Navigant stockholders at a special meeting on July 12, 2006.
