Overview

CWT offers a variety of products and services to help clients optimise their travel programme and savings.

CWT works with clients to generate and consolidate timely, relevant data that is the foundation of travel programme optimisation. CWT also assesses clients’ travel programmes by analysing performance for each of the eight key levers to effective travel management. This assessment includes benchmarking against best-in-class performance to help clients identify successful practices, as well as opportunities for improvement. Together, CWT and its clients then define performance targets, priorities and action plans, which are translated into measurable results that are continuously monitored to drive progress.

Web-based global reporting enables clients to more effectively analyse and manage their travel programme. CWT has also developed a one-stop, multilingual, Web-based tool, the CWT Programme Management Centre, to help clients easily access information and streamline the management of their travel programme. Customised dashboards that monitor key performance metrics, coupled with integrated data from a variety of sources–pre-trip bookings, post-trip data and credit card expenses–help travel managers and procurement professionals track and optimise their travel programme on an ongoing basis. Reflecting its best-in-class properties, the CWT Programme Management Centre won an Innovation Award at the 2008 Business Travel Show in London.

CWT has more than 1,000 professionals around the world who are responsible for analysing travel programmes and implementing programme optimisation strategies. They include travel programme managers, as well as subject matter experts in technology, supplier sourcing, booking and fulfillment, and change management. At the point of sale, CWT travel counselors also help optimise travel programmes by providing travellers with information and booking alternatives, enabling them to consistently comply with their company’s travel policy. Furthermore, the CWT Travel Management Institute conducts in-depth research into the eight levers to effective travel management, providing clients with actionable insights and best practices they can use to optimise their travel programme.
