Efficiency Award at Defra's Annual Supplier Forum
Carlson Wagonlit Travel scooped the
inaugural Efficiency Award at Defra's Annual Supplier Forum in March, beating other major suppliers
in the process.CWT was praised for their responsive approach to implement the contract
within a challenging timescale; for the continual identification of new solutions to improve
processes, efficiencies and service delivery for Defra's diverse organisational structure; for
delivering substantial savings over the contract period; for effective communication to drive user
buy-in and for developing the CO2 Calculator and Reporting Suite, showing awareness of Defra's key
focus areas.
