Andrew Waller Appointed President Europe, Middle East, Africa and Global Partners Network for Carlson Wagonlit Travel | December 20, 2011

CWT today announced that Andrew Waller, currently executive vice president United Kingdom, Ireland and the Mediterranean (Spain, Italy, Egypt, Greece and Morocco), is appointed president CWT Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Global Partners Network, effective January 1, 2012. Waller succeeds Håkan Ericsson who it appointed president of CWT North American and Latin America.

CWT To Go TM Available Today on Popular Mobile Devices | December 15, 2011

CWT today announced that its mobile app, CWT To Go TM, is available on popular Smartphone platforms worldwide. CWT To Go allows busy travelers to access a wide range of services, including itinerary, changes in travel schedule and location-based infomation. Developed with CWT's e-commerce partner, Rearden Commerce, CWT To Go is available exclusively to travelers who book through CWT.

Jack O'Neill to retire; Håkan Ericsson Appointed President CWT North America and Latin America | November 28, 2011

CWT announced today that Håkan Ericsson, currently president Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Latin America, has been appointed president CWT North America and Latin America, effective January 1, 2012. In North America, he will succeed Jack O'Neill, who will retire at the end of this year, after a long and successful travel industry career.

Carlson Wagonlit Travel Reaches Out to its Travelers to Help Protect Children | November 16, 2011 

CWT annouced today that it will introduce advisories on electronic itineraries issued in the U.S. to specified destinations known for the sexual exploitation of children. The advisories, issued on itineraries to certain countries, are intended to raise travelers' awareness of this illegal practice.

Carlson Wagonlit Travel Acquires Net Tour Viagens E Turismo in Brazil | November 3, 2011

CWT announces it has acquired Net Tour Viagens E Turismo Ltda (Net Tours) through its local Brazilian subsidiary, Wagon Lits Turismo Do Brasil Ltda (CWT Brazil). Net Tours, based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, has provided travel management expertise to corporate travelers since 1995.

Carlson Wagonlit Travel Acquires Centenial Group in Costa Rica | October 5, 2011

CWT announces it has acquired the assets of Centenial Group, an international partner of CWT in Costa Rica since 2004. Centenial Group based in San Jose has provided travel management expertise to corporate travelers since 2005. The new organization will be called Carlson Wagonlit Travel Costa Rica (CWT Costa Rica).

CWT Market expanded to BlackBerry and enhanced with new apps | August 31, 2011

In April 2011, CWT launched CWT Market, a free application for iPhone and Android mobile devices that aggregates travel apps and mobile web sites into one convenient mobile app. Today, CWT Market is also available on BlackBerry devices and has been enhanced with many additional apps.

Carlson Wagonlit Travel Announces Strong Performance in First Half 2011 | August 22, 2011

CWT today announces that its sales volume for the first half of 2011 was US $13.4 billion, representing a 10 percent increase compared to the same period in 2010 (on a constant currency basis). Transactions rose 5 percent to 30.8 million in the first six months of 2011.
