Delta Air Lines (Delta) has advised CWT of a fraudulent email campaign many of its customers are receiving. The email claims that the recipient has purchased a Delta ticket and that a credit card has been charged. The email also contains an invoice or receipt as an attachment.

Qantas grounds all aircraft worldwide | October 29, 2011

Air France flight attendant strike causes flight cancellations | October 28, 2011

Air France has been advised by several of its commercial crew unions that they intend to take strike action from Saturday, October 29, to Wednesday, November 2, 2011. As a result, Air France is planning to cancel some flights during the strike period. At this time, the carrier has announced cancellations of the following long-haul flights on October 29 and 30. There is also the potential for additional cancellations and delays during the strike period.

Bangkok flooding impacts travel | October 25, 2011

As reported via CWT Alerts and major media coverage over the past several days, the flooding in Bangkok and the surrounding areas has worsened, prompting the Thai Cabinet to announce public holidays from Thursday, October 27, to Monday, October 31, and some airlines to cancel or re-direct flights into early next week. Nok Air announced the airline is canceling flights into and out of Bangkok’s Don Muang Airport until October 31, and Orient Thai Airlines has temporarily moved its domestic operations to Suvarnabhumi until further notice.
