Earthquake off coast of Indonesia leads to evacuations | April 11, 2012

As reported earlier through numerous CWT Alerts and major media, an 8.6 magnitude earthquake struck early today approximately 434 kilometers (240 miles) off the coast of Indonesia. Following the quake and as a precaution, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center initially issued a tsunami watch for the Indian Ocean.
