Air traffic controllers in France, Italy, Greece, Portugal and Hungary are planning strike action from midnight on Tuesday (11 June) until midnight on Wednesday (12 June). Strike of Lufthansa ground staff on April 22 | April 19, 2013
The labour union Verdi has called a full-day strike for Lufthansa ground staff on Monday, April 22. According to the union the following airports will be affected all day: Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart, Hanover, Dusseldorf and Cologne. Berlin is expected to strike until 2.30pm and actions are also expected at Nuremberg in the morning hours.

Update on avian influenza in China | April 15, 2013
CWT is carefully monitoring the status of avian influenza/H7N9 in China. At this point, no human-to-human transmission has been reported and therefore the risk for international disease spread is considered low. The World Health Organization continues to state that no travel or trade restrictions with China should be applied, based on the current information.

Lufthansa domestic and short-haul flights canceled due to staff strikes | March 20, 2013
