As previously reported today in a CWT Alert, the pilots union for Lufthansa German Airlines has voted in favor of a four-day strike to protest wage concessions and possible plans to shift jobs to lower-paying subsidiaries. The strike, scheduled to begin at midnight Monday, February 22, and continue through Thursday, February 25, could cause significant flight disruptions globally.

  • Last day of travel for the new itinerary will be March 31, 2010, or per original fare rule, whichever is longer
  • All change penalties will be waived, including: minimum/maximum stay and advance purchase fees
  • Non-changeable fares will be permitted under this waiver
  • All other conditions of the original fare must be observed including booking class, routing and flight carrier restrictions
