Carlson Wagonlit Travel appoints Jim Tweedie as Executive Vice Pesident Account Management for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)

PARIS, LONDON – July 6, 2005 – Carlson Wagonlit Travel, a world leader in business travel management, has announced the appointment of Jim Tweedie, currently Executive Vice President North Europe, to the new position of Executive Vice President Account Management, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Jim Tweedie’s position, which he took up July 1, reflects CWT’s development strategy and its determination to further develop its relationships with its multinational clients, helping them optimize their travel program on an increasingly global basis. He now reports to Martin Warner in his position as Executive Vice President Global Accounts and Solutions and has a dotted line relationship with Richard Lovell, Chief Operating Officer EMEA for CWT.

Commenting on Jim Tweedie’s appointment, Martin Warner, Executive Vice President Global Accounts and Solutions said: “Jim was heavily involved in the original development of the Account Management concept within CWT and made a significant contribution to the set up of the account management training scheme.
