position of president, Suppliers, Products & Technology, effective June 1. Based in the United
Kingdom, he reports to CWT president and chief executive officer Douglas Anderson and is a member
of the company’s global executive team.
Mr. Winterton, age 44, is replacing Mike Koetting, who was executive vice president of Global

new position, Mr. Koetting remains a member of the CWT Global executive team.

officer and executive vice president, Technology & Product Management, who will leave CWT in
July to pursue new interests.
Mr. Winterton has more than 20 years’ experience in travel and distribution, and a strong
international background. In his most recent position, he was senior vice president, Global
Supplier Relations & Travel Services Network International, and general manager, Latin America,
for American Express Business Travel. Having joined American Express Business Travel in 2000, he
also held the position of vice president, Supplier Relations North America & Global
Distribution Strategy. Prior to that, he spent four years at Galileo International LLC, where he
was first director, Airline Sales & Account Management, and subsequently vice president,
Airline Vendor Account Management.
From 1994 to 1996, he worked as general manager and executive vice president for a start-up
known as Language for Industry. Before that, he spent six years at Official Airline Guide, where he
held several positions, including regional director, Asia Pacific.
In addition to managing mutually beneficial relationships on behalf of CWT and its air,
hotel, GDS and ground transportation suppliers, Mr. Winterton is responsible for the company’s
information technology and product management organizations. In that role, he is charged with
increasing productivity and efficiency for CWT and its clients, as well as integrating new products
and services that will enable organizations of all sizes to further optimize their business travel
programs.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Anderson said: “Andrew is a seasoned travel industry
executive whose entrepreneurial spirit and global vision fit very well with our way of doing
business. I’m delighted that he has joined the team and look forward to having him help us continue
to deliver added value and client satisfaction in a complex business environment.”
