Andrew Winterton joined Carlson Wagonlit Travel in June 2009 as President Suppliers, Products and Technology for the group. Based in the U.K., he reports to Doug Anderson, President and Chief Executive Officer, and is a member of the global Executive Team.

Andrew is responsible for leading the Global Supplier Management Team, ensuring that we deliver and are compensated for the value we create for our preferred suppliers as well as identifying new opportunities to deliver benefits to our clients and CWT. Andrew also leads our IT and product management organizations, driving automation, standardization, productivity and efficiency, as well as identifying and delivering innovative solutions to meet our client's evolving needs.

Andrew has a broad experience in travel and distribution having started in travel with the Official Airlines Guide (OAG) where he became Regional Director Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. Andrew subsequently joined Galileo where he was promoted to Vice President, Airline Vendor Account Management. In 2000 Andrew joined American Express as Vice President, Supplier Relations North America and Global Distribution Strategy. His recent responsibilities as Senior Vice President, American Express Business Travel were to lead Global Supplier Relations, Travel Service Network International and Latin America.

Andrew, a British citizen, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from London's Imperial College.
