Håkan Ericsson joined Carlson Wagonlit Travel in January 2008 as president EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Latin America. He is based in Paris and is a member of the global executive team.

Ericsson has vast experience in professional services and has worked on a pan-European or global level for much of his career. From 2002 until 2005, he worked for international express and logistics leader DHL, first as managing director for DHL Europe and then as managing director for DHL Freight Europe, where he was also responsible for global and European operations. He subsequently joined SAS, the Scandinavian airlines, as executive vice president heading up the business unit that included all support companies such as cargo, technical services and ground handling. Prior to joining CWT he was chief executive officer of Loomis AB, a global leader in cash handling services. In addition, Ericsson has held other executive positions in the transport sector and management consulting.

Born and raised in Sweden, Ericsson spent three years working in Belgium and has traveled extensively around the world. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Stockholm.
