As executive vice president, Global Supplier Management, Mike Koetting oversees the agreements Carlson Wagonlit Travel has with air, hotel, car and global distribution system (GDS) suppliers on a global, regional and national level. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he is a member of both the CWT global executive team and the CWT North American executive team.

Before assuming his global position, Koetting was executive vice president, CWT North America, responsible for finance, supplier relations and marketing. Today, in addition to his global role, he oversees data integrity and provides leadership on key strategic initiatives for CWT North America. Koetting was named to the roster of "The 25 Most Influential Executives of the Business Travel Industry, 2006", published by Business Travel News, a leading industry publication in North America.

Prior to joining CWT in 2004, Koetting was senior vice president of what was formerly Maritz Corporate Travel, where he had various responsibilities in finance, industry relations, marketing, consulting services and strategic planning. Koetting entered the travel management industry in 1993, when he started working for what was then TQ3 Travel Solutions. He began his career as a certified public accountant and senior auditor at what was formerly Price Waterhouse.

Koetting, an American citizen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Indiana University.
