Through the CWT Program Management Center, CWT clients can drive more savings in their travel programs by accessing key statistics and trends in an easy-to-read dashboard format. The ability to quickly drill-through from overview charts and identify exceptions saves time and allows travel managers to focus their attention where it matters most.

Reinforcing program goals

At CWT, special emphasis is placed on clients’ travel program performance as compared to goals, with key metrics of importance showcased, allowing travel management personnel to focus their efforts on the items they have chosen to emphasize. Clients can choose from more than 20 metrics—from advanced purchase to missed hotel bookings to preferred supplier usage. The CWT Program Management Center enables clients to quickly access critical statistics on how their travel program is performing against desired goals.

At the point of sale, CWT travel counselors also help optimize travel programs by providing travelers with information and booking alternatives, enabling them to consistently comply with their company’s travel policy. Our CWT HARP hotel database and other online tools also encourage compliance at the time of booking by displaying our clients’ preferred suppliers first. CWT, at our clients’ discretion, can also require travelers to provide a reason at the time of booking—both online and through a travel counselor—if they do not book a preferred supplier.

But, to truly manage compliance, travel program managers also need to be able to take corrective action when warranted.
