Many U.S. airports are responding to this traveler need by installing additional power outlets and recharging stations when they undergo renovations. Fee-based services like Smarte Carte’s Rapid Charger (costs $3 USD for 30 minutes of charging) and PowerPort’s recharging station (costs $4.50 USD per charge) are also popping up in airports across the country.
