Airports now offer travelers more places to charge up
From laptops and cell phones to BlackBerrys and iPods, today’s business travelers often carry multiple electronic gadgets that require frequent recharging, causing them to constantly search for electrical outlets while on the road.
Many U.S. airports are responding to this traveler need by installing additional power outlets and recharging stations when they undergo renovations. Fee-based services like Smarte Carte’s Rapid Charger (costs $3 USD for 30 minutes of charging) and PowerPort’s recharging station (costs $4.50 USD per charge) are also popping up in airports across the country.
