Hertz offers environment-friendly rental cars
Hertz recently introduced its Green Collection, a fleet of 35,000 environment-friendly cars featuring Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion, Buick LaCrosse and Hyundai Sonata. Customers can reserve the vehicles by make and model, and Hertz guarantees availability at 50 major U.S. airport locations, with more locations to be added soon.
All vehicles in the Green Collection have a fuel efficiency of 28 miles per gallon or better, and about half are SmartWay certified – designed to pose limited impact on greenhouse gases and air pollution.
The Green Collection is also available to Hertz Canada customers. The 1,000 car fleet is guaranteed available at the Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver airport locations.Sources: Travel Weekly, Hertz
