Orlando International Airport recently opened Express Pick-Up, a convenient new curb-side pick-up service for Florida’s E-pass and SunPass toll program customers. The service allows drivers who have passed through a security checkpoint to access the inner curb of the main terminal to pick up passengers. Once their vehicle has passed a security inspection, drivers may go inside the airport to greet the passenger they’re transporting or wait in their vehicle.
Express Pick-Up is open daily from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. and costs $1 USD for every 30 minutes parked. After two hours, the service costs $5 USD per hour. Free wireless Internet access is also included in the Express Pick-Up prices.

After five years of major construction, Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) has unveiled the final components of its expansion project. The last phase of the $1.4 billion USD project added vehicle lanes to terminal roadways, an expanded curbside for passenger drop-off and pick-up, and a skywalk with moving sidewalks to improve safety and speed up traveler access to gates.
In earlier phases of the construction project, the airport opened a passenger terminal for Southwest Airlines, added airport gates, introduced new concession areas, consolidated rental car facilities and added approximately 8,400 parking spaces.
With the conclusion of this project, airport officials say they are confident BWI’s modern, updated facilities will provide travelers a pleasant experience while leaving room for possible growth in the future.
