June 2007
The U.S. Departments of State and Homeland Security on June 8 revised part of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) to better accommodate an increased amount of travelers this summer. Beginning immediately and effective until September 30, 2007, travelers returning by air to the United States from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Bermuda will be permitted entry by showing government-issued photo identification and Department of State-issued proof of application for a U.S. passport.
As previously reported in
CWT Traveler, international business travelers working in
Belgium must now comply with specific rules set forth by the Belgian government. Several
clarifications and updates were recently made to the program, called Limosa.
