Amtrak has installed T-Mobile HotSpot wireless Internet service at five stations in the Northeast United States, giving access to all passengers for the first time. The service is available at Washington Union Station, Baltimore Penn Station, Wilmington Station, Philadelphia 30th Street Station, and New York Penn Station.
According to Amtrak, the new service will provide reliable and secure wireless Internet access to customers. Wireless Internet access has proven to be a service valued by business travelers as they attempt to stay connected while on the road.
