Reminder about visa requirements during summer travel season
Travelers with international
trips planned this summer will need to be aware of the country-specific visa requirements for their
destination. Visa applications for the countries listed below often take longer to process because
these destinations are popular for both business and leisure travel. Unfortunately, requirements
for visa applications vary widely from country to country and can take anywhere from a few days to
several weeks for processing.

Airport body scanners now in use
Late last year airports began testing the use of body
scanners as a way to improve security while eliminating pat-down searches. As of this writing,
scanners are now in use in at least 10 airports, being used to screen randomly selected passengers.
Albuquerque, Baltimore, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Las Vegas, Lon Angeles, Miami, and New York
Kennedy airports are all using at least one machine.

How far in advance do you generally book your business travel?
- 62% responded “More than 14 days in advance”
- 32% responded “7-14 days in advance”
- 6% responded “Less than 7 days in advance”
