As a way to earn an additional USD $500 million in annual revenue amid rising fuel prices, US Airways has decided to begin charging passengers for coffee and soft drinks consumed on most flights. Beverages will cost USD $2 in coach but will remain free in US Airways’ Envoy premium-class cabin.
