Extra passenger information needed for flights to India
India introduced the Advanced Passenger Information System (APIS). From now it is mandatory for all passengers flying to India to provide extra personal information before departure.
The following details need to be entered:
- Surname
- First name
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Nationality
- Passport number
- Country where the passport has been issued
- Passport expiry dateThe information will be entered in the booking by your CWT travel agent. This saves long queues at the airport check-in.
Currently the APIS procedure applies to the following countries:
- Australia
- Canada
- China
- United Kingdom
- India
- Japan
- Korea
- Mexico
- United Arab Emirates

Name change for Account Management
As of 1 October 2008, in accordance with the international organisation, the name of the Account Management department of Carlson Wagonlit Travel has been changed into Program Management.
The function titles of the Account Managers are changed to Program Managers by the same date. The customer portfolios of the individual Program Manager within Carlson Wagonlit Travel remain unaltered.
