Advanced Passenger Information to and from the United Kingdom
The UK Government will require Advanced Passenger Information (API) for all passengers travelling internationally into the UK and out of the UK. Advance Passenger Information means providing certain information to the authorities before passengers travel, such as passport details and, where necessary, contact information.
As of 17th June 2009 passengers flying from The Netherlands to the UK or transferring via one of the London airports, they will be required to provide the following information.

In order to minimise unnecessary delays at the airport, it is essential that, all travellers provide the API prior to travelling to the airport:

When checking in online, you are automatically directed to a form where you can fill in the details mentioned above.
At the Airport
Staff at check-in kiosks will be able to collect API data but customers are strongly advised to supply the information prior to arrival at the airport or at a check-in kiosk where available, providing customers hold a machine readable passport.

Business travel means spending hours in airports, planes, and hotel rooms, away from the efficiency of a normal work space. How can business travellers’ compensate for the loss of productivity, especially if travel plans are disrupted?

The least efficient workspace, according to an American Airlines Customer Research online study, is in flight. More than 96 percent of respondents said they conduct work-related activities at their hotels. Eighty-five percent conduct work-related activities at the airport, but this number drops to 52.6 percent onboard a flight. Reasons include lack of space and distractions.
