The Living Hotels – the specialist for serviced apartments
The Living Hotels represents a wide range of providers of serviced apartments and hotel rooms across Europe on its bespoke electronic distribution channels. The capacities and strengths of individual properties are grouped together under a single, instantly recognisable brand.
A wealth of advantages for business travellers
In serviced apartments business travellers have a wide range of benefits and amenities: they enjoy all the advantages of a hotel paired with an individual ambiance. The apartments have a kitchen or kitchenette, and include a separate living and sleeping area. Individual services in the apartments can be booked flexibly according to the guest’s personal needs, for instance cleaning, breakfast roll delivery, laundry or shopping services. Serviced apartments offer up to 30 per cent savings compared with a standard hotel room. There is no difference when it comes to booking: The Living Hotel’s system allows business travellers to book their stay just as easily as they would a conventional hotel room.
A strong partner in the long-stay segment
Serviced apartments are ideal for short, medium or long-term stays. A stay of four nights or longer is categorised as a long-stay; a stay of between one and three nights is a short-stay. One of the greatest advantages of the long-stay concept is the price savings that can be made: the longer the stay, the greater the savings. During trade shows travellers benefit from the fact that the apartment rate applies for the duration of their stay, avoiding high trade show surcharges.
Your benefits with The Living Hotels
The Living Hotels offers a wide choice of serviced apartments from a single source. Over 3,200 hotel rooms and serviced apartments in 23 partner properties in Germany, Austria and Switzerland can be booked easily through CWT travel agencies. Derag Livinghotels, which operates 14 hotels, is the biggest partner of The Living Hotels. The price depends on the duration of the stay. Business travellers benefit in particular from long-term stays.
Three new properties in 2015
The Living Hotels recently welcomed a new property into the fold. Since March 2015 the portfolio has included the Derag Livinghotel De Medici in Düsseldorf. This exceptional property looks back on a rich history spanning 300 years; with 170 bedrooms and serviced apartments it offers the perfect solution for short and long stays alike.
Derag Livinghotels is also planning to open two more apartment hotels in 2015 in Frankfurt and Garching.
Rolling out worldwide
The serviced apartment concept is enjoying rising popularity beyond the borders of Germany. In order to benefit from this development The Living Hotels joined the Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP) in January 2015. The organisation is the leading serviced apartment industry body in the United Kingdom. Membership of this association gives The Living Hotels the opportunity to further develop industry standards and tap into new markets, and business and private travellers alike benefit from the expansion and internationalisation of the portfolio.
