Responsible business – CWT leads in ethical and social responsibility

Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has further expanded its leading role as a responsible business, demonstrating substantial advances in its latest sustainability report. Thanks to CWT’s steady and significant progress and commitment to responsible corporate governance, EcoVadis has awarded it Gold Status for 2017. This puts CWT among the top one percent of all companies worldwide in terms of responsible business practices. Key achievements include:

 

  • 94 percent of all responsible business objectives to be accomplished by 2020 have been initiated.
  • More than 99 percent of our employees have participated in training on ethics and compliance guidelines.
  • 22 countries have submitted environmental data – representing 80 percent of CWT’s total revenue.
  • 75 corporate social responsibility initiatives in 2016 increase the total to over 300 since 2014.
  • The global Responsible Business Network grew to 80 members in 32 countries, covering all business processes.
