A new direct service between London Heathrow and Tokyo Haneda has been launched by Japan Airlines. This increases to a total of four daily flights (3 flights to Tokyo Haneda and 1 flight to Tokyo Narita) offered by joint business partners JAL and British Airways between the two cities. The new outbound flight (JL042), departing from London at 09h30AM, arrives at 06h25AM to Tokyo giving you the whole day in Tokyo on your first day. Meanwhile the JL041 late night departure from Tokyo also gives you a full day in Japan, comes with lounge access for all, and is the only direct flight from Tokyo to arrive in London early in the morning, allowing for easy connection to Switzerland.
Additionally, from Switzerland, with the partnership with British Airways, Finnair and Iberia, customers have the choice to fly via Frankfurt, Helsinki, London, Madrid and Paris. While in Japan, customers can easily connect to JAL’s extensive domestic network, offering access to 36 cities across the country.
Together, the 4 carriers offer more than 80 non-stop flights per week to Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka during the summer season.
Joint fares are available on all 4 carriers, enabling customers to choose their itinerary and schedule to best suit them, for example flying on Finnair, British Airways or Iberia on an outbound flight to Japan and JAL for their return to Europe.
