USA: More stringent security screening procedures from 26 October 2017

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will finish implementing new screening procedures for international flights bound for the US on 26 October 2017. The procedures shall include short security interviews, additional security forms, and more rigorous screening of electronic devices including laptop, tablets and mobile devices. Passengers may be subject to these new screening procedures at check-in, document review or at the boarding gate, and should arrive at the airport early to avoid potential disruption.
