New management of customer care at Carlson Wagonlit Travel in Switzerland

The travel management company CWT is reorganizing its customer support in Switzerland, effective 1 July 2017. Katharina Turlo from Switzerland will take responsibility for customer support throughout Central Europe as Senior Director Program Management Central Europe. Mirco Biasi, named Head of Program Management Switzerland, will act as a direct contact for customers in that country. He succeeds Ralf Stephan, who is leaving the company in June at his own request.

 

“We would like to thank Ralf for his consistently excellent work over the years and wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” said Walter Ruggli, Vice President Switzerland & Easter Europe. “At the same time, we are happy to have found in Mirco and Katharina worthy successors who dispose over a wealth of customer experience and Swiss market expertise. As an added benefit for our customers, both of them speak fluent German, English and French.”

 

Mirco Biasi has been working for CWT for almost 20 years in the operational division Traveler Services, holding posts including Manager Traveler & Transaction Services Support and Manager Products & Optimization. In his new capacity, he is a member of the Swiss Leadership Team and reports directly to Katharina Turlo, who knows the Swiss market well from her 19-year career at CWT in Switzerland, where she worked both in operations and customer support and sales.

The customer support teams in Germany and Austria were already merged at the beginning of the year. This consolidation is now being extended to the Swiss market to promote closer cooperation and an intensive exchange between the regions.
