Osaka Calling! Starting from 31 March 2019 a new Japan Airlines (JAL) code-share flight operated by British Airways (BA) will connect London Heathrow to Osaka Kansai International Airport. The new flight will be operated by Boeing 787-8 and will fly 4 times per week, arriving in Osaka early morning. This will provide an additional travel option to those customers flying to Japan, thanks to British Airways connecting flights between Zurich, Geneva or Basel and London Heathrow.
The service schedule is as follows:
BA19/JL7078 | LHR-KIX | 14:20-09:50+1 | (Mon, Weds, Fri, Sun) |
BA20/JL7079 | KIX-LHR | 11:30-15:50 | (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Sat) |
Even when flying on BA operated flights, JAL customers can accumulate miles and tier points through JAL Mileage Bank (JMB), or other oneworld carrier’s loyalty scheme. Your status will be recognized and your benefits made available throughout your journey.
