We place great importance on corporate social responsibility (CSR). This has been confirmed for the second year running by EcoVadis, which has given CWT a Gold rating, the highest possible status. EcoVadis is an independent, internationally recognized CSR rating agency.
This puts CWT in the top percent of all companies rated by EcoVadis worldwide for responsible business around the globe – both within its industry and across all industries. In the categories Fair Business Practices/Ethics & Compliance, CWT was even placed among the top one percent within the travel industry.
“Our second, successive, annual Gold rating for global CSR is testament to both us, and our customers, of the benefits of living CWT’s values,” says Catherine Maguire-Vielle, Chief Human Resources Officer at CWT. Françoise Grumberg, Vice-President Global Responsible Business at CWT, adds, “The Gold rating also recognizes the teamwork and commitment from across all areas of our business to further embed CSR deep into our company culture.”
The methodology used by EcoVadis rates companies according to 21 CSR criteria, grouped under four themes: Environment, Labor, Fair Business Practices and Sustainable Procurement. The auditors evaluate the participating companies’ performance in each of these four areas in terms of policies, actions and results.
