Airbnb and CWT join forces to give business travellers’ more choice

CWT has signed a partnership agreement with Airbnb giving our clients an even greater choice for travel accommodation. From Saturday 1 October, we will be able to make Airbnb bookings for our clients and integrate those trips into CWT’s Off Channel Reporting programme.

 

Founded in San Francisco in 2008, Airbnb is one of the great success stories of the sharing economy, opening up a marketplace for travellers to book unique accommodations in more than 34,000 cities and 191 countries around the world from their smartphones.

 

Through our partnership with Airbnb, we’re providing travel managers with additional lodging choices which reflect the changing needs of the market.

 

As the way that people travel changes in response to technology and the greater access to services, business trips are also evolving rapidly. Travellers expect a wider range of accommodation options and the ability to personalise their journeys as they would have for leisure travel, so we are excited to extend these options to our business travel client base.
