This year’s Business Travel Show at London’s Olympia in February saw two full days of networking, learning and innovation. This year saw CWT offer the perfect blend of people and technology with a range of talks, workshops and consultations available, not to mention the very popular CWT Smoothie Bike which offered a novel way to mix up a delicious drink!
Anyone who visited our stand would have seen our exciting new brand identity, and experienced our digital difference product demos first hand.
CWT Business Travel Show Highlights:
Our virtual payments masterclass with Clive Cornelius, where he covered everything from new technologies such as invisible payments to what the future holds from virtual payments.
Geraldine Valenti’s forecasting forum where she discussed what’s in store for us in the realm of air and hotel pricingin the year ahead.
Jo Dobson and Dafydd Llewellyn’s session on exploring how SMBs can gain big advantages with connected travel and expenses.
This year npower travel buyer Jo McQuade was on hand, alongside some of the members of the CWT senior team to present an extreme change management project that we undertook with npower. Jo talked about how we made huge savings in the travel budget, while still moving a more traditional company’s travel programme into the digital age.
CWT Meetings & Events were also very proud to show off the brand-new UK booking tool CWT Small Meetings where users can access 75,000 hotels instantly with live venue availability to make organising events and meetings easier than ever.
As well as covering all of this great content, we also introduced CWT’s new hotel solution, RoomIt which is aimed at making overnight stays for your travellers easier to organise and keep track of.
For those interested in creating a consolidated global travel programme, our energy, resources and marine team were on hand to offer advice and guidance on reducing travel spend and increasing control over all aspects of travel.
